Pre-Heresy Marine Concept 6

Sixth step in a commission to build a 54mm model of a Space Marine from before the Horus Heresy. This is a detail of the sketching prior to beginning the colour concept: the final piece of work that is supposed to really inform the client of what he's getting at the conclusion of the deal.

I left the mace out, partly because it didn't fit on the card I'm using as a canvas and partly because I still haven't worked out exactly what it'll look like - but that's a detail I can come back to later. The marine is the important thing!
