Pre-Heresy Marine Concept 2 by precinctomega Pre-Heresy Marine Concept 2 by precinctomega
Second step in a commission to build a 54mm model of a Space Marine from before the Horus Heresy. The client loved the helmet design but wanted a more "knightly" looking chap, so I ditched the weapon.

The Horus Heresy and all imagery is from the Warhammer 40,000 game, copyright Games Workshop Group.

This is great! Nice idea about marines before Horus Heresy, because there's nothing clear written about how did they look like. :D

this is brilliant! i love it!

i believe those things "what are these for" are for either power supply, or perhaps even an air filtration system perhaps? not sure, but they do have a purpose LOL

I'm sure you're right, Matt. But I couldn't, for the life of me, work out why they were on the *outside*. Fortunately, my final concept sorted that by hiding them under a big slab of armour, so my conscience is clear.

ah good idea lol

i also think thats why later versions of the armor concealed them

because it says in the codex "exposed power cables" or something like that.
