Nerf Recon CS-6 WH40k

I had a lot of fun with this one. It's a Nerf Recon CS-6. I have modified it very, very slightly by sealing a hole in the barrel which - I'm assured by experts - will add 10 feet to the weapon's range. Taking it apart was quite tricky, but putting it back together again was a total paint in the neck!

Inspired by the imagery of Warhammer 40,000, I've designed it as an autogun: a futuristic machine gun. It's got relevant markings for the Imperial Guard as well as some customized artwork. The wooden handgrip is painted (and I'm really pleased with the effect I achieved) and intended to represent an ad hoc replacement for an original part.
