Clear, straightforward and good results. Just the way a painting tutorial should be. Could use some sharper shots, but I can make out what it is, which is the most important here.

Nice tutorial. Did you paint several layers of Skull White directly over the black for each step or did you use another colour as a base to work from?

I used straight Skull White in this case. Because you're going to paint several layers on top of each other anyway, a base coat is superfluous. Keep your paints thin, though.
